7th Grade Winter Instrumental Concert

I played bass in our Winter Instrumental Concert. The orchestra was 7th and 8th graders, combined. We played:
• Las Palmas
• Serenade No. 9 "Posthorn" (finale)
• Canadian Legend
• Miracle on 34th Street
• ABBA Medley (I Have A Dream/Mamma Mia)

Secrets of the JavaScript Ninja

For my Fall Outside Reading project, I decided to read Secrets of the JavaScript Ninja by Bear Bibeault and John Resig and write code based on some of the functions described in the book. I had a lot of fun completing this project, but I almost bit off more than I could chew and had to scramble to finish. When I presented my project a lot of my friends didn't understand what I was talking about, but my teacher thought I did a good job.
