Fall 2015 Travel Soccer

We finished our soccer season second to last in the league. Despite the losses, I really enjoyed this season and learned a lot of new skills and techniques. At one point I was annoyed because my coach moved me from stopper to sweeper. Stopper is my favorite position and the one that I am best at, while sweeper is the most defensive position on the field. This was annoying because my team-mate, who was put in as stopper preferred playing sweeper, and was better at it. Even though I would have preferred if my coach had switched our positions, I learned more about how many of the positions fit together. This year we tried a new formation called 4-2-3-1. This system encourages defenders to be more active during the game, which is a real bonus. This has been a fun year and I can't wait till next season.
